RMS full form in stock market is Risk Management System.
RMS is a set of rules created by the Risk Management Team to ensure traders have enough funds before and after they enter the trade. It helps in maintaining huge losses, if a trader's losses square off the trades (so that his account balance will not go negative beyond a value). Additionally, it sets limits on leverage based on the daily market on a day-to-day basis.

What is the role of RMS in placing an Order?
RMS ensures you have enough balance in your account to trade. For leveraged trades, it only checks if you have the required margin amount, which is the minimum amount to open a new trade position.
How to set up RMS manually?
You cannot set it manually, it is pre-configured in the software. Only the RMS team can make changes. If you get an RMS error, read the message to understand the issue. For example, if you want to buy 1000 shares with 20000, but the RMS error states that the required Amount required is 20156, so simply you can reduce them, now your order will get easily placed.
RMS acts as a financial gatekeeper, for your account, ensuring you have the necessary funds to execute trades:
Non-leveraged trades: RMS verifies if you have the full amount before approving the trade.
Leveraged trades: RMS only needs the margin amount, which is the minimum needed to open the trade.
The error occurs due to the various reasons:
The total value of your open orders, along with the new order, exceeds the limit set by the RMS.
This limit is determined based on factors such as your account balance, margin requirements, and risk profile.
Here’s how you can avoid such a situation:
Reduce Order Size: Minimize the quantity of your order to stay within the allowed limit.
Close Open Positions: If you have existing trades, consider closing some to free up the margin and reduce the total order value.
