Inshorts Group appoints Abhijeet Ranjan as Chief Revenue Officer

Former National Sales Head of Star Plus, Abhijeet Ranjan, has been named Chief Revenue Officer of the Inshorts Public app, a local news app with more than 60 million active users.

Former National Sales Head of Star Plus, Abhijeet Ranjan, has been named Chief Revenue Officer of the Inshorts Public app, a local news app with more than 60 million active users.

Ranjan will be in charge of quickening Public app’s overall income development and making greater inroads with national brands looking to expand their market penetration through vernacular advertising.

30K small businesses are presently advertising on the public app, which was established by the Inshorts Group in 2019. It also has over 50 national and international brands. It provides advertisers with hyperlocal geo-targeting tools so they may find the ideal clients wherever in the nation.

Ranjan has more than 15 years of experience in total. Abhijeet spent the last 1.5 years as the National Sales Head for Star Plus before joining Public app. He has held a variety of executive positions in the past at organisations including Snapdeal, ESPN, Network 18, HT Digital, and others.
