LIC’s consumers, agents, and employees will receive seamless omnichannel engagement and data-driven hyper-personalized experiences through the development of a state-of-the-art NextGen Digital Platform, which Infosys will facilitate as part of the partnership.
Infosys was chosen by LIC due to its extensive experience in the execution of large-scale digital transformation initiatives and its profound expertise in the banking, financial, and insurance sectors. Infosys will offer LIC comprehensive system integration services that leverage AI capabilities from Infosys Topaz and DevSecOps services from Infosys Cobalt.
Infosys Cobalt is a collection of services, solutions, and platforms that enable enterprises to expedite their cloud migration. Meanwhile, Infosys Topaz is an AI-first suite of offerings that complements Cobalt with generative AI capabilities. Furthermore, Infosys will assist in the establishment of the essential infrastructure for digital transformation and guarantee continuous monitoring and maintenance once the platform is operational.

The NextGen Digital Platform will allow LIC to achieve the objectives of DIVE, which are to provide the marketing team, intermediaries, customers, and stakeholders with the best-in-class digital initiatives. The platform will also function as an open platform, facilitating rapid integration with Bancassurance partners and FinTech companies.
