Info Edge, an online business founded by Sanjeev Bikchandani, is investing INR 15 Cr (about $1.8 Mn) to increase its shareholding in Gramophone, an agritech startup.
Info Edge supported the firm from the beginning and has been progressively increasing its ownership position. Gramophone has raised over $20.5 million in funding to date from investors such as Z3 Partners, Asha Impact, and Siana Capital.

Through an omnichannel business model, Gramophone distributes farming equipment, insecticides, fertilisers, seeds, and other products directly to farmers as well as through local shops.
India's leading online classifieds company, Info Edge, was founded in 1995 by Sanjeev Bikhchandani.
Established in 2016 by Ashish Rajan Singh, Harshit Gupta, Nishant Mahatre, and Tauseef Khan, Gramophone provides farmers with a range of products including seeds, fertilizers, nutrients, and farming equipment.
