Greendzine Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a prominent company that specializes in electric mobility solutions for the industrial and warehouse market, has executed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore (IIIT-B), a distinguished research and development institution. Through its MOPTro EV platform, Greendzine is developing solutions that facilitate the connection between warehouses and homes (W2H).
The signing of this Memorandum of Understanding signifies the commencement of a strategic partnership that is dedicated to the advancement and implementation of the cutting-edge Robotic Picker technology on Greendzine's MOPTro WASP, a warehouse selecting product.
The objective of the partnership is to capitalize on the innovative research capabilities of IIIT-B and the expertise of Greendzine in electric mobility solutions to develop a revolutionary Robotic Picker that can substantially improve automation in warehouses and industries. IIIT-B will provide the requisite lab facilities, product demonstration platforms, and funding for the project, which will encompass advanced research in vision systems, multi-agent path planning algorithms, and universal grippers.

IIIT-Bangalore will offer its expertise in the fields of vision systems, path planning algorithms, and ubiquitous grippers, in addition to providing laboratory facilities for research and product demonstration. The initiative will be funded by IIIT-B, which will also provide resources, hardware, software, and IP filing. The execution and management of the project will be the responsibility of Greendzine Technologies, which will also supervise program management, prototyping, testing, and vendor management.
The company will also conduct the proof of concept at the customer's premises and conduct the demonstration of the solution to potential consumers. The project, which is scheduled to last for one year with the potential for an additional two-year extension, is a substantial advancement in the field of autonomous automation. Throughout the collaboration, both parties are dedicated to maintaining the utmost standards of research and development. The initiative is administered by MINRO, a Center of Excellence (CoE) that is funded by the Government of Karnataka.
