Ice cream business Hocco has raised $12 million, or INR 100 crore funding led by Sauce VC and promoter group Chona family.

At the time of the transaction, the main capital infusion was valued at Rs 600 crore. Angel investors, such as Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, participated in the deal.

Ankit Chona, the managing director of Hocco, stated that the capital will be used to increase the company's production capacity, as The Economic Times reported.

Ankit Chona, managing director of Hocco, stated that the company is considering using rapid commerce to grow its operations into areas outside of Gujarat, one of its primary markets.
