Healthtech startup ClaimBuddy has raised $3 million (Rs 21 crore) in a funding round co-led by Chiratae Ventures and Rebright Partners. Titan Capital & Relentless Ventures and other private existing investors also participated in the round.

The startup said that funds will use to strengthen technology framework and increase sales and marketing efforts.

Founded by IIM Bangalore alumni Khet Singh and Ajit Patel in 2020, ClaimBuddy acts as one-stop solutions for Health Insurance Claim assistance for Patients and Hospitals. They are building an ecosystem to ensure Hassle-free insurance claims by leveraging technology, and a set of simple yet powerful processes and operations.

“The investment and our new partnership with Chiratae and Rebright is a powerful endorsement to our vision, strategy and solution which we aim to deliver to the health insurance industry, ClaimBuddy has seen 10x growth over the past year. With these funds we look forward to accelerating the company’s efforts for smoother claim assistance,” he added. Khet Singh, cofounder, ClaimBuddy, said.

The startup said it has processed claims worth more than Rs 100 crore and works with more than 120 hospitals.

“For the past one and a half year we have dedicatedly focused on solving the claim process. We are very much excited about the investment since it will help in the company’s growth in key markets. With this investment we are looking ahead to provide best support to hospitals and partner doctors who are associated with us,” said Ajit Patel.
