Health and wellness brand The Good Bug has raised $3.5 Mn in funding as part of its Series A round from Fireside Ventures.
The additional funding will be used to expand the market, create more gut health products, and scale up recruiting and marketing efforts.
“We aim to pioneer and expand the gut health category in India, which has been an unexplored segment. We are unravelling the same by helping people get to the root cause of core health issues and holistically solve it,” Keshav Biyani, the co-founder of The Good Bug, said.
The company claims to produce a range of probiotics for different health issues. Think9 Consumer Technologies, which provides support to build brands with its tech, data, and marketing solutions, is backed by Ashni and Avni Biyani’s company, as per reported by Livemint.
Based on this premise, they have created a science-backed range of probiotics with clinically tested strains of bacteria for Adults & Kids, aimed at addressing Gut issues and, in turn, holistically solving digestive, core & women’s health for daily wellness.
