The top conversation cloud, Gupshup, announced that Salim Ali has been named Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Salim, who is based in Silicon Valley, will oversee full stack marketing for all routes to market and the whole value chain.
With nearly thirty years of experience, he will provide a broad range of solutions that make up the Gupshup Conversation Cloud, thereby aiding in the company's global growth and expansion.

Salim provides extensive marketing experience, having built and scaled business lines across large corporations and startups. He has led large, globally distributed teams. Salim handled all aspects of marketing at WordPress VIP in his prior position as Chief Marketing Officer, including product marketing, industry and customer marketing, and enhancing the WordPress brand voice. Prior to founding WordPress VIP, he managed international teams in the MENA, APJ, LatAm, UK/EU, and SAP markets while holding top positions at Avalara, Veritas Technologies, and SAP.
