GoMechanic, an auto parts startup that Servizzy just acquired, has raised $6 million in a strategic fundraising round headed by an undisclosed family office, following its fire sale.
Stride Ventures and other current investors participated in the round as well.
With the additional funding, GoMechanic plans to increase its presence in hitherto unexplored regions of the nation. The funds will also be utilised to introduce fresh designs for operator workshops and to branch out into additional fields, as reported by Inc42.
Commenting on the fundraise, the new cofounder and chief executive officer (CEO) Himanshu Arora said, “This achievement serves as a profound vote of confidence towards the company and in the potential of its business model from the investment community, the existing shareholders, Stride Ventures and Lifelong Group, and the startup community.”
The unorganised auto-servicing market has been upended by GoMechanic’s technological innovations, which are now more methodical, dependable, and affordable.
With “GoMechanic LUXE,” the firm has also entered the premium services sector, providing luxury car repair facilities nationwide. GoMechanic Service maintains 800 automobiles every day, compared to the premium vertical’s 600+ luxury cars each month.
