A leader in digital engineering and a Hitachi Group company, GlobalLogic announced that it has finalised an acquisition deal to buy Mobiveil, a US-based provider of specialised embedded engineering services.
Through the acquisition, GlobalLogic will increase its current Embedded Software capabilities, which are critical for new digital goods and services in important sectors like automotive, media, medical technology, high tech, semiconductors, and media. Along with notable customer relationships, the acquisition gives GlobalLogic instant access to a sizable pool of highly qualified staff that is pertinent to the sector.

Mobiveil’s established Centres of Excellence (CoEs) for embedded engineering, situated in five locations across the United States and India, will be advantageous to GlobalLogic. The current CoEs in Central and Eastern Europe run by GlobalLogic will be supplemented by these centres. The talents of Mobiveil will improve GlobalLogic’s performance in the areas of ASIC, hardware, and embedded software.
