Adani to Partner Mayo Clinic to Establish Affordable, World Class Healthcare Facilities

Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, has announced the launch of Adani Health City (AHC), a network of integrated healthcare campuses. These will be developed through the Group's non-profit healthcare branch.

In line with his belief that “service is meditation, service is prayer, and service is God,” the Adani family will fully fund the creation of affordable, world-class healthcare and medical education for people from all walks of life across India.

Gautam Adani, said in a post on X, "Proud to launch Adani Health City in partnership with Mayo Clinic, pioneering world-class medical research, affordable healthcare & education. Starting with two 1000-bed hospitals and medical colleges in Ahmedabad & Mumbai, we are on a mission to bring cutting-edge medical innovation across India. This is just the beginning for a healthier, stronger India - one campus at a time!"

The family plans to donate over ₹6,000 crore to build the first two Adani Health City campuses in Ahmedabad and Mumbai. This is part of a larger ₹10,000 crore commitment for social causes, announced during the wedding of Jeet Adani.

Gautam Adani plans to expand this initiative with more Adani Health Cities in various cities and towns across India.

Each campus will feature a 1,000-bed multi-specialty hospital, medical colleges with 150 new medical students each year, along with over 80 residents and 40 fellows, and will include step-down care facilities and advanced research centers.

The goal of Adani Health City is to provide healthcare for people from all economic backgrounds, train future doctors, and focus on clinical research, artificial intelligence, and biomedical informatics.

The Adani Group has partnered with Mayo Clinic Global Consulting (from the USA) to help guide the development of the hospitals. Mayo Clinic will provide advice on organization, clinical practices, and the use of digital technology to improve healthcare quality.
