GEF Capital raises $200 mn in funding

Private equity firm GEF Capital Partners has raised nearly $200 million from British CDC Group, IFC, and Dutch investment firm FMO, among others, to close its South Asia Growth fund II.

It is a growth equity fund targeting climate-themed businesses in South Asia with a focus on India.

Builder.ai raises $100 mn in Series C round from Insight Partners, others

Builder.ai, the AI startup has raised $100 million in a Series C funding round from Insight Partners.

The company will use the funds to enhance its AI and automation capabilities, develop its proprietary low-code/no-code platform, and for large-scale product development.

Healthcare venture capital HealthQuad raises $162 mn

Spacetech platform Pixxel has raised $25 million in Series A funding round from Radical Ventures.

The startup plans to use the funds to accelerate the production of the world’s highest resolution hyperspectral satellite cluster and provide industry AI-powered insights exploring, solving and predicting climate issues at a fraction of the traditional satellite cost.

mCaffeine parent Pep Technologies raises Rs 240 crore

Pep Technologies Pvt Ltd, which owns caffeine-based skin and hair care brand mCaffeine has raised Rs 240 crore, from Paragon Partners.

The company plans to use the funds to grow its offline presence to 25,000 outlets from its existing 5,000, expand its sales team, and acquire at least two beauty brands.

IntelleWings Private Limited, an AI-powered and SaaS-enabled AML/CFT (Combating the Financing of Terrorism) Compliance company has raised $650K in pre-Series A round from Dallas Venture Capital.

In order to reduce corruption and terrorist funding, IntelleWings has developed its proprietary AML/CFT global database for customer scrutiny, the company said in a statement.
