In its recent Series A round, the road and transport logistics company Vahak from Bengaluru received an undisclosed amount of funding from Work Universe.

Through its AI-powered booking platform, Vahak, which was founded in 2019 by Karan Shaha and Vikas Chandrawat, enables a transport marketplace with over 10 lakh+ GST and Aadhar verified transporters, expands transport business across India, and increases profits.

Vahak had previously secured $14 million in June from Nexus Venture Partners, Fundamentum, iSeed Ventures, Leo Capital, RTP Global, and Titan Capital as part of its Series A round.

“Digitally-driven logistics services are the need of the hour to reduce India’s logistics cost. Through our community platform, we are improving the lives of truck drivers with better fleet management, easy return load bookings, and benefits like escrow payments and new value-added services going live soon”, Karan Shaha, CEO and Co-founder at Vahak, said.
