Digital entertainment company Rusk Media has raised over $9.5 million in its Series A funding round from DAOL Investment and Audacity Ventures along with the existing investors InfoEdge Ventures, Mistry Ventures and Survam Partners.
The New Delhi-based Rusk Media was founded in 2019 by Mayank Yadav, It creates content for Gen Z and Millennials, and operates two platforms—Alright! and Playground, according to the startup, attracts more than 500 million visitors on a monthly basis.
“With the behavioral shift of the digital native audiences, entertainment has transformed across 30-seconds snackable social videos, OTT shows, casual and AAA Gaming. Our future plans are already two-fold, firstly scaling our content with OTT partners via our IPs. Secondly, building a UGC-led social gaming platform that will enable game developers to create games and publish them on our platform,” said, Mayank Yadav, founder & CEO, Rusk Media.
The startup claims to have worked with leading brands like Mondelez International, Perfetti Van Melle and Jubilant Foodworks and others for-Alright. In addition, they have partnered with big brands including KFC and ITC Ltd for their gaming entertainment IP playground.
Recently, the company along with NODWIN Gaming launched a gaming entertainment IP-Playground, built with gaming and content entertainers including CarryMinati, Triggered Insaan, ScoutOP and Mortal, and claimed to have garnered over 200 million views.

Rusk Media has raised a total of $12 million in funding so far.
