PickMyAd, an influencer discovery, and booking platform has raised an undisclosed amount in its pre-seed funding round from Kissflow CEO Suresh Sambandam.
Other angel investors including Mohan K (CEO of IppoPay), Prabhu Rangarajan (Co-founder of M2P Fintech), Prashanth (VP – Amwell), and among others also participated in this round.
“The investment will be used to build other revenue streams as well as creator tools that will allow creators to monetize in different ways,” said, Prabu Dass, CEO and co-founder of PickMyAd.
The Chennai-based PickMyAd was founded in 2020 by Aruljothi Kuppusamy, Arun Pious, Prabu Dass, and Sivakumar Selvaraj, It connects brands with influencers in just a few clicks and manages the entire influencer marketing journey on a single platform, and helps brands of all sizes find greater flexibility and connects creators to more opportunities.
The startup has covered over 500 influencers and facilitated over 100 transactions.
It currently focuses on Instagram and YouTube influencers in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra, Telangana and Karnataka.
The startup aims to be the largest influencer marketplace to find, book and manage creators.
“People who consumers follow want to hear from them. As a result, brands are enlisting the help of influencers and creators to engage with their target audience. We’re seeing mainstream TV commercials featuring Instagram influencers as well as YouTube stars. At the same time, brands are finding it increasingly difficult to reach and manage influencers across multiple platforms and geographies,” Mr. Suresh Sambandam, CEO of Kissflow.
In January this year, PickMyAd had raised an undisclosed amount in pre-seed funding round from the Start-up India Seed Fund.
