The packaged potable water brand “Wahter” has secured pre-seed funding in the amount of Rs 5 crore, with a valuation of 52 crore.
It intends to use this funding to enhance its production processes, expand its distribution network, and further innovate its advertising-driven revenue model.

The company intends to expand the number of carts, carriages, and kiosks to encompass a wider range of high-traffic areas, thereby offering advertisers a more diverse demographic to target. Additionally, it recommended that investments be made in cutting-edge technology to optimize logistics, streamline operations, and guarantee the purity of bottled water.
Wahter offers consumers the option of purchasing bottled water for Rs 1 or Rs 2. The company’s distinctive strategy entails the integration of brand advertisements onto water bottle labels, resulting in a win-win situation in which advertising investments subsidize the cost of water.
