Salt Oral Care, a luxury oral beauty brand, has secured an undisclosed sum in a preliminary funding round to facilitate its expansion into the North American market.
A group of distinguished dentists and strategic partners lead the round, which values the startup at Rs 20 crore.
Kunal Chedda, an investor based in the United States who is presently employed by Amazon Prime, participated in the most recent funding round.
The objective of the strategic partnership is to capitalize on Chedda’s proficiency in the North American market in order to expedite the growth of Salt Oral Care.
Dr. Nisha Sancheti, a distinguished dentist from Mumbai, has also invested and will be involved in the product formulation. Dr. Viraj Doshi, an existing supporter, also participated in this round.
Salt Oral Care intends to utilize the capital raised to expand its brand recognition, expand its product line, and establish a strong team to assist in its expansion endeavors.

By December 2024, the startup intends to distribute 80% of its present product line through a variety of retail chains in the United States and Canada.
