Aeravti Ventures has led a preliminary funding round for dairy-tech startup ORIGHT, which has raised $1 million.
The Gurugram-based organization had previously secured $847K in funding from Loyal and other sources.
The fresh funds will be allocated to the expansion of its product offerings, the scaling of its platform, and the further empowerment of the producers, processors, and distributors it serves.
ORIGHT, an IoT device for milk traceability solutions, was co-founded in 2019 by Utkarsh Kapoor and Rame Kachroo. Its IoT devices monitor a variety of factors, including the quality of the milk, as well as the temperature, humidity, water, FAT, SNF, and adulterants.

It also monitors the milk until it reaches its ultimate destination, including the time spent in chillers, transport vans, and the environment at the time of final packing. The accumulated information is transmitted directly to a blockchain network by its IoT devices. The data is transmitted to the consumers’ phones on a daily basis.
ORIGHT’s objective is to establish a dairy industry supply chain that is both extremely efficient and synchronized, utilizing state-of-the-art technology. It guarantees transparency, quality, and sustainability throughout the entire value chain, from farm to consumer.
