Zulu Club secures $250K in pre-seed round from TDV Partners

Zulu Club, a fashion quick-commerce startup, has raised $250K in pre-seed funding from early-stage VC firm TDV Partners.

The investment will help the company grow its fast, hyperlocal fashion delivery service and improve its Try-at-Home shopping experience for city customers.

Adarsh Bhatia, founder of Zulu Club and former business head at fashinza, said, “Most online fashion platforms are built for speed and variety - but that often comes at the cost of experience and confidence. We are building Zulu Club to reintroduce trust and personalisation, especially for millennials and Gen Z consumers who value convenience and tactile exploration."

Ujwal Sutaria, General Partner at TDV Partners, said, “Shoppers want to try before they buy. Zulu’s Try-at-Home kits and instant delivery reflect the expectations of mobile-first, experience-driven consumers. This is not just another marketplace—it’s a reinvention of how fashion retail can work in India.”

About Zulu Club

Founded in 2024 by Adarsh Bhatia, Gurugram-based Zulu Club lets users shop from nearby malls and outlet stores through its app. Customers get a curated Try-at-Home kit with 4–5 items, try them at their convenience, and only pay for what they keep. This reduces returns and boosts sales through smart suggestions.

Its 100-minute delivery and Try-at-Home model targets city shoppers who want a hands-on experience without going to stores.

Zulu Club uses AI to pick the right products, offers live shopping help, and runs its own delivery network. This solves common online fashion problems like sizing issues, low trust and high returns, while helping local fashion retailers grow.
