You Care Lifestyle Secures $1 Mn In Pre-seed Funding Round

Independent verification platform You Care Lifestyle (YCL) has raised $1 million in a pre-seed funding round co-led by Luke Coutinho and eminent promoter Narendra Firodiya.

The startup plans to use the funds to improve product verification and authentication processes, ensuring high reliability. Part of the funding will also support emerging clean brands, helping them grow and earn consumer trust. 

YCL also aims to expand its offerings and plans to test and verify around 90-100 brands in the food and cosmetic sectors by the end of 2025.

Launched this year, You Care Lifestyle (YCL), based in Mumbai, is an independent verification company in the health and wellness industry. It ensures the safety, purity, and quality of products and services across categories like groceries, food, nutraceuticals, beauty, personal care, pathology labs, and other lifestyle-related offerings.

The startup aims to create a reliable third-party verification platform that tackles issues like mislabeling and misinformation, encouraging consumers to make informed choices. YCL also seeks to help brands focus on health-conscious products and maintain high-quality standards, while inspiring consumers to choose authentic, health-conscious products.

The startup says it has deals for 37 products. Of those, 24 passed lab tests, and 18 are now on their website. These products will have a 'Pink Tiger Stamp' which shows they've been checked and approved for quality.
