Wendor Raises $2.5 Mn In Seed Funding From Elanpro

Wendor, a smart vending solutions provider has raised $2.5 million (around Rs 21 crore) in seed funding round from Elanpro, a market leader in commercial refrigeration equipment.

The investment includes Rs 5 crore in equity and Rs 16 crore in debt.

As part of this deal, Wendor will get operational support from Elanpro, helping it use a strong service and logistics network across India.

The funds will be used to improve AI-powered vending technology, develop computer vision solutions, and expand Wendor’s market reach in India and globally.

About Wendor 

Founded in 2021 by Lakshit Anand, Wendor offers smart vending and automated retail solutions with digital payments, mobile integration and IoT-based technology. Its vending machines are compact, cashless and managed through a cloud-based system.

The company plans to enhance its AI-driven vending tech to improve inventory management, reduce losses, and increase efficiency. It is also working on camera-based product and quantity detection for real-time tracking and AI-powered demand forecasting to optimize product selection.

To strengthen its presence in india, Wendor will open ten experience centers in major metro and Tier-1 cities within two months. These centers will showcase its advanced vending solutions, including AI-powered product recognition, automated inventory tracking and refrigeration-integrated vending machines.
