Warmup Ventures Launches its Second Fund at INR 300 Cr

Micro venture capital firm Warmup Ventures has launched its second fund with a corpus of Rs 300 crore to invest in 25-30 early-stage startups across India.

Micro venture capital firm Warmup Ventures has launched its second fund with a corpus of Rs 300 crore to invest in 25-30 early-stage startups across India.

Warmup Ventures said in a press release that Warmup Fund II, a Category 2 AIF (Alternate Investment Fund), will focus on sectors like deep tech, climate, and sustainability. The fund will make individual investments of Rs 5-7 crore, with a provision for follow-on rounds.

Sharad Bansal, managing partner at Warmup Ventures, said,  “Having experienced the founder’s journey ourselves, we deeply understand the importance of the right capital in driving a venture’s success. At Warmup, we are dedicated to going beyond funding by equipping early-stage founders with the knowledge and networks to make informed decisions and scale faster."

Warmup Ventures aims to do more than just provide funding; it helps early-stage founders gain the knowledge and connections needed to make better decisions and grow faster. The VC firm says it uses the power of its network to create value for both its portfolio startups and investors.

About Warmup Ventures

Warmup Ventures was co-founded by Sharad Bansal, Rajendra Lora, and Yogesh Chaudhary in mid-2023, has invested in over 15 startups, including Bobabhai, Nitro Commerce, and Balwaan Krishi.These starrtups  have made significant progress in growing their operations and attracting funding from other investors. According to the statement, Bobabhai has expanded to 45 stores nationwide, and Nitro Commerce has onboarded over 200 brands.
