Troovy Raises $5 Million in Series A Round

Troovy, a clean-label snacking startup, has raised $5 million in a Series A funding round led by Fireside Ventures and Sharrp Ventures. 

The round also saw participation from existing investors Spring Marketing Capital and Veltis Capital.

Earlier, in May last year, the company raised Rs 20 crore ($2.3 million) in a pre-Series A round led by Fireside Ventures and others. Prior to that, it secured an undisclosed seed round in 2023.

The funds will be used to expand distribution through e-commerce, quick commerce and D2C channels, launch new clean-snacking products, and grow the business toward Rs 100 crore in revenue over the coming years.

Founded in 2021 by Mansi Baranwal and Aditya Mukherjee, the Gurugram-based Troovy specializes in kid-friendly snacks for families, offering chips, puffs, cookies, sauces, spreads, and multi-millet milk mixes — all free from refined sugar, maida, palm oil, preservatives, and artificial additives.

In the past five months, the startup has reported 5x growth, driven by repeat purchases and growing popularity among urban households. Troovy sells through online marketplaces and its own website, with plans to expand digital reach and introduce new products using millets, dals, grains, nuts and vegetables.
