Backpacker hostel brand goSTOPS has raised Rs 35 crore ($4.2 million) in its Series A funding round led by Blume Ventures and 1Crowd.
The round also saw participation from other existing investors, including Mumbai Angels, Chennai Angels, Indian Angel Network, Lead Angels, and Yuj Ventures.
Funding Utilisation
With this new funding, goSTOPS plans to grow its capacity from 2,500 to 10,000 beds across 100 locations in the next two years, aiming for 4X growth. The company will use the funds to improve its operations, upgrade technology, and enhance the social and experience aspects of its current properties. They are also working on debt partnerships to support further expansion.
