“The sports ecosystem in India remains fragmented, with limited access to quality coaching, infrastructure, and even basic equipment. As a result, many talented students drop out early, especially with academics being prioritised at home. But sports isn’t just about creating future champions who can fuel India’s ambition of becoming a marquee sporting nation, it’s equally about raising healthier kids and reducing their screen time,” said Ankur Mittal, Co-founder of IPV.

“It builds discipline, confidence and overall well-being. TIDA Sports is helping bridge this gap by making quality training, venues and tournaments accessible at the grassroots level, ensuring that sports work for students rather than against their potential,” Mittal added.

About TIDA Sports

Co-founded in 2023 by Adit Goel, Sumeet Malik, Priyansh Matta, and Sanchit Budhiraja, TIDA Sports partners with schools and local sports academies to make sports facilities, coaching, and exciting tournaments accessible to students. It has worked with schools like GD Goenka, DPS, DAV, and Aravali to run and improve their sports programs.

So far, the company has organised over 100 tournaments and has supported players who went on to represent their states and even the country in top-level competitions.
