TERN Group raises $24 Mn in Series A round led by Notion Capital

The funds will be used to enter new markets, improve its AI-driven Clinical Workforce platform, and grow training operations.

TERN Group raises $24 Mn in Series A round led by Notion Capital (1)

TERN Group, a UK-headquartered global talent mobility platform, has raised $24 million in Series A funding round led by UK-based Notion Capital. 

RTP Global, LocalGlobe, EQ2 Ventures, and Leo Capital, along with existing backers including Presight, Tom Stafford (Co-founder, DST Global), and senior healthcare policymakers, also participated in this round.

With this funding round, the startup’s total funding has reached $33 million.

The funds will be used to enter new markets, improve its AI-driven Clinical Workforce platform, and grow training operations.

Founded in 2023 by Avinav Nigam and Krishna Ramkumar, both former executives at Urban Company and Cars24, TERN helps Indian nurses and care workers access global jobs through transparent hiring, AI-based matching and zero recruitment fees. 

The platform focuses on ethical placement in international markets, especially Europe and the GCC.

TERN reports 10x growth last year, nearing ₹200 crore in annualized revenue, and operates in 13 countries including India, the UK, Germany, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. 

Over 650,000 professionals are registered with partnerships with NSDC, TNAI and state governments to scale training and compliance.
