SuperGaming, a gaming studio company has raised $15 million in a funding round led by existing investor Skycatcher and Steadview Capital, valuing the company at $100 million.
The round also saw participation from global strategic investors such as a16z Speedrun, Bandai Namco 021 Fund, Neowiz and Web3 Investors, including Polygon Ventures, Sandeep Nailwal, Decentralised.co, 4th Revolution Capital, 32-Bit Ventures, Ryze Labs, Ed3n Ventures, Visceral Capital and existing investors like AET Japan and BACE Capital.
The round includes a mix of fresh capital and interim investments made since SuperGaming's $5.5 million raise in October 2021.

The funding will help grow SuperPlatform—SuperGaming’s cloud-based tech stack built with google Cloud. Designed for developers in emerging markets, it offers tools for analytics, monetisation, and community engagement to support live multiplayer games without needing complex backend infrastructure.
“We're building from scratch, not just from a game developer’s perspective of showing that these kinds of games can be made here, but also by providing tools that the community can use, infrastructure for players to participate, and support for streamers to create events that help talent emerge from across the country,” founder Roby John said.
“Our thesis is straight forward: India is the fastest-growing gaming market globally and from that will emerge the next global giants in gaming. Our first round was about scaling development capabilities and this round is now about scaling global and unique hyper local publishing approaches,” said Sia Kamalie, founder and fund manager of Skycatcher.

The SaaS platform works with popular engines like Unity and Unreal, making game development more seamless, according to the company.
In October last year, SuperGaming launched Indus, a made-in-India battle royale game for both Android and iOS users. Since then, Indus has crossed over 6 million downloads.
SuperGaming currently employs over 120 people across its Pune and Singapore offices and plans to expand its team, especially in engineering and publishing roles.
