Venture capital firm Stellaris Venture Partners has raised $300 million for its third fund, which will focus on seed and Series A investments in India.
Purpose of fund raising
With this new fund, Stellaris' total assets under management (AUM) now exceed $600 million. The fund received backing from both existing investors and new global supporters, including university endowments, foundations, pension funds, and other well-known funds.
Stellaris plans to use Fund III to invest in 25-30 startups in sectors like consumer technology, enterprise software, artificial intelligence, and financial services.

Stellaris Venture Partners was founded in 2017 by Ritesh Banglani, Alok Goyal, and Rahul Chowdhri. The firm has supported 44 startups through its two funds. It was an early investor in brands like MamaEarth and the digital adoption platform Whatfix.
Stellaris has also invested in Nestasia, Zouk, and Kiwi, among others. Its first fund raised $90 million, and the second one grew to $225 million.
Additionally, Stellaris promoted Naman Lahoty, who joined in 2019 to focus on consumer investments, to the role of partner.
