The funds will be used to scale STAN’s footprint in India and other mobile-first markets, enhance AI-driven personalization and creator tools, and roll out new integrations for publishers and partners building within gaming-focused communities.

Social gaming platform STAN raises $8.5 Mn in Series A round

STAN, a social gaming platform has raised $8.5 million in a Series A funding round from investors, including Japanese gaming companies Bandai Namco Entertainment, Square Enix, and Reazon Holdings along with google’s AI Futures Fund and Aptos Labs.

The round also saw participation from existing investors including Nazara Technologies, General Catalyst, GFR Fund, T‑Accelerate Capital, and Pix Capital.

Earlier, STAN had raised $4.5 million in its pre-Series A round from investors including GFR Fund, Aptos Labs, Pix Capital, Maelstrom Fund, and returning backer General Catalyst.

The funds will be used to scale STAN’s footprint in India and other mobile-first markets, enhance AI-driven personalization and creator tools, and roll out new integrations for publishers and partners building within gaming-focused communities.
