“For years, software focused on blocking bots. Now, business apps must authenticate agents and control their data access,” said Satya Devarakonda, Scalekit’s co-founder and CEO. “Scalekit provides a single drop-in toolkit to manage this.”

“AI agents are emerging as first-class users of business software, and current identity stacks can’t keep up,” said Girish Mathrubootham, Founding Partner at Together Fund. “Scalekit has built the missing agent identity infrastructure that will power the next billion agent identities.”

About Scalekit

Founded in 2023 by Satya Devarakonda and a team of ex-freshworks engineers, Scalekit provides modular infrastructure for SaaS and AI-first teams.

Its products include MCP Auth for agentic servers, Agent Actions for secure API calls, and modern human authentication with features like SSO and SCIM. Unlike all-in-one solutions like Auth0, Scalekit lets developers pick only the tools they need.

The startup, with 25 employees, says its products are used by companies like Fello, Sifthub, Napkin, Unstract, Hubbl, and Aerchain for AI-native app authentication and agentic features.

It plans to add background agent support, detailed authentication logs, and prebuilt connectors for over 1,000 apps. The company also aims to provide tools for agent auditability, expand integrations with platforms like Slack, Gmail, Notion, and Salesforce, and partner with AI platforms to offer native authentication plugins.
