Rusk Media raises Rs 103 Cr in Series B round led by IvyCap Ventures

Digital entertainment company Rusk Media has raised Rs 103 crore ($12 million) in its Series B funding round led by IvyCap Ventures.

The round, which was a mix of primary and secondary capital, also included participation from LC Nueva, InfoEdge Ventures, Woori Venture Partners, and other investors.

The company plans to use the new funds to expand into key international markets such as the US, Europe, and the EMEA region, while also developing new entertainment IPs for global audiences.

To date, the company has raised approximately $21.5 million, including a $9.5 million Series A round led by DAOL Investment and Audacity Ventures.

"This investment will help us build newer IPs, drive expansion of our existing formats to global audiences and grow our micro-dramas viewership on Alright TV app,” said Mayank Yadav, cofounder and CEO of Rusk Media.

Founded in 2019 by Mayank Yadav, the New Delhi-based Rusk Media creates digital content for Gen Z audiences through brands like Alright! (fictional entertainment), Playground (gaming IP), and LIT (food, fashion, and travel).

The startup claims to have over 20 million subscribers and generates more than 1 billion monthly views across its IPs on social media and OTT platforms like Amazon miniTV, JioCinema, and Disney+ Hotstar.

Rusk Media reported a 40.6% year-on-year revenue growth to ₹56.8 crore in FY24, while reducing its losses by 56% to ₹28.7 crore. In FY25, the company’s revenue further rose to ₹100 crore.
