Pranay Luniya, Founder and CEO of Quintrans, said the company aims to build reliable linear motion systems in India using an engineering-first approach, with both hardware and control electronics developed in-house to provide fully integrated solutions to customers.

Ankit Kedia, Founder and Lead Investor at Capital-A, noted that Quintrans is one of the few young Indian teams combining strong technical expertise with practical market understanding in a space that has seen limited innovation from emerging markets.

About Quintrans

Co-founded in 2021 by Pranay Luniya, Kartik Kulkarni, Aniruddha Atigre, and Prasanna Kadambi, Quintrans is building advanced electromagnetic and electromechanical linear motion components that offer frictionless movement, high speed, and micron-level precision.

With an India-led design and manufacturing approach, the company focuses on cost efficiency, customized solutions, and reliable service, positioning itself as a global “Make in India” player.

India produced and sold around 6.8 million actuators in FY22, and demand is expected to grow to 10–11 million units by FY26, driven by industries such as automotive, industrial automation, HVAC, and marine.

Quintrans plans to manufacture nearly 500,000 actuators annually by 2030, aiming to become a major domestic player in a market currently dominated by global OEMs like SMC, Festo, and LinMot.
