About Modulus Housing
Founded in 2018 by Shreeram Ravichandran and P. Gobinath, the Chennai-based Modulus Housing builds modular buildings using a factory-made construction model. It works with partner factories through a cloud manufacturing network and uses its own products to make low-rise structures.
Modulus says it operates in over 21 states and has nearly 10 manufacturing plants across India. The startup claims to have completed more than 1,200 projects and counts clients like Indian Oil, Tata Group, and L&T.
A significant portion of its revenue comes from government and private sector projects.
The company says it is profitable, with total revenue exceeding ₹200 crore. Its operating revenue grew 38% to ₹54 crore in FY24 from ₹39 crore the year before. FY25 figures were not disclosed.
