Praan Health raises 8.5 Cr in seed round led by Rainmatter Investments

Praan Health, a lifestyle-first chronic care platform for parents aged 50 and above, has raised Rs 8.5 crore in a seed funding round led by Rainmatter Investments.

The round also saw participation from WEH Ventures and angel investors, including Alakh Pandey and Prateek Maheshwari (PhysicsWallah) and Arjun Vaidya, among others.

The company said it will use the new funds to improve its product and technology, grow its clinical and coaching teams, and expand its services to reach more families across India.

Founded in 2024 by Navneeth Ramprasad, the Bengaluru-based startup Praan Health is a lifestyle-based chronic care platform that helps parents live healthier, stronger, and pain-free lives. It combines doctor-led care, clinical nutrition, and strength training to manage and reverse chronic conditions through habit change.

The startup recently launched its mobile app, which lets young adults manage their parents’ health in one place — from uploading blood tests and checking risk scores to tracking weekly progress and scheduling doctor consultations.

Praan offers personalized 90-, 180-, and 365-day programs for over 25 chronic conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, arthritis, osteoporosis, and post-surgery recovery.

In less than a year, the startup says it has supported over 1,500 families across India through 50,000+ personalized sessions led by a team of doctors, clinical nutritionists, physiotherapists, and strength coaches.
