Power electronics startup Dynolt Technologies Raises  $1.7 Mn from Transition VC

Dynolt Technologies, a power electronics startup has raised $1.7 million (about Rs 14.7 crore ) in a seed funding round led by energy transition-focused venture capital fund Transition VC.

Dynolt Technologies, a power electronics startup has raised $1.7 million (about Rs 14.7 crore ) in a seed funding round led by energy transition-focused venture capital fund Transition VC.

The round also saw participation from marquee angel investor Yashowardhan Shah.

Funding Utilsation

The funds will be used to grow its mobility business by developing high-power chargers with advanced semiconductors for fast charging stations. It also plans to expand into new areas like solar and hydrogen with solutions for high-frequency inverters and DC-DC converters.

Rajesh Sura, Co-founder and CEO of Dynolt Technologies, said, “This investment will fuel our expansion into critical sectors like battery energy storage systems (BESS), renewable energy and hydrogen, while enabling us to strengthen our leadership in next-generation power conversion products."

“Power electronics are critical for achieving India’s energy transition goals. Dynolt is building power electronics for mobility, solar, battery energy storage systems, and the hydrogen value chain. We envision Dynolt offering power conversion solutions for the complete energy transition domain,” said Shoeb Ali, co-founder and managing partner, Transition VC.

About Dynolt Technologies

Founded in 2022 by Rajesh Sura and Teja Kumar, Dynolt Technologies builds power electronics solutions for clean energy industries like e-mobility, energy storage, renewables, and hydrogen. The company was founded by IIT alumni Sura and Kumar, who previously worked at General Motors and Crompton Greaves.

Dynolt’s technology efficiently controls power converters using embedded software, making them scalable and adaptable across different sectors.

Its products include software-defined power converters for onboard and offboard chargers for two- and three-wheeler EVs, along with battery swapping stations. So far, the company has deployed over 14,000 power converters across India, completing more than 30 million charging cycles.

Clients include EMO Energy, Sandhar Technologies, Bounce, International Battery Company, Numeros Motors, Yulu, Yuma Energy and River.
