PlaySuper raises $1 Mn in seed round led by VC Chimera

PlaySuper, a gaming commerce platform has raised $1 million in its seed funding round led by Singapore-based gaming VC Chimera. 

The round was led by Audacity VC, IAN Capital Fund, and Dhruv Vohra, Meta’s Managing Director for APAC Emerging Markets.

The startup will use the funds to enhance product development, grow brand partnerships, and expand operations in India and Southeast Asia.

“Gaming in India and Southeast Asia is at an inflection point. Ads and cash incentives are no longer enough. About PlaySuper 

Founded in 2024 by Shouradeep Chakraborty, Upamanyu Chatterjee, and Abhir Das, PlaySuper uses a rewards-as-a-service model. It provides gaming studios with a plug-and-play SDK to add branded rewards into games.

Brands pay PlaySuper to boost user engagement and conversions, while studios get better player retention and monetization without affecting gameplay—creating a win-win for gamers, studios, and brands.

The company says it has already surpassed $350,000 in monthly GMV, with early partners seeing notable improvements in user retention and revenue.
