Pinky Promise raises $1 million from Rebalance Angel Community, others

Pinky Promise, a first-of-its-kind artificial intelligence (AI)-led digital clinic for women, has raised $1 million in a pre-seed funding round led by the Rebalance Angel Community.

The round also saw participation from Subramanian Ramadorai, Mala Ramadorai, Ajay Nair, Shreyas Srinivasan, and others.

The new funds will be used to speed up integrated services, open physical clinics and expand clinically approved nutritional supplements, helping the company offer continuous care across the country.

“Pinky Promise started with a simple yet contrarian insight: for many women, access to gynaecological care is constrained by time, privacy concerns, and long waiting periods. We built an AI-enabled, chat-first clinic to remove these barriers and deliver immediate care. We want to reach 5 million women over the next two years as we scale and we are extending this approach into physical clinics and integrated care offerings. We are grateful to our investors for backing this vision and supporting our next phase of growth,” said Divya Kamerkar, Co-founder of Pinky Promise.

Aishwarya Malhi and Vikas Kumar, cofounders of Rebalance Angel Community, said, “Women’s health remains underfunded and under-researched, resulting in frequent misdiagnosis and limited access to care. Pinky Promise stood out for its clarity of vision and disciplined use of technology to improve access to reproductive and sexual healthcare for women.”

Co-investor Subramanian Ramadorai, also the Chairperson of Karmayogi Bharat, said, “Women’s health is an important yet underserved domain in India. Pinky Promise brings together trust, multilingual access, and a thoughtful application of AI to address structural gaps in care delivery.”

About Pinky Promise

Founded in 2020 by Divya Kamerkar and Akanksha Vyas, the Mumbai-based Pinky Promise is an AI-powered women’s digital clinic that offers chat-based gynaecological care through a mobile app. Available 24×7 in Hinglish and English, it allows women to consult qualified gynaecologists, get prescriptions, and receive ongoing care, starting at Rs 99.

The startup says the platform is built to quickly and reliably diagnose and manage women’s health concerns, addressing the lack of accessible, affordable and non-judgmental sexual and reproductive healthcare in India.

The app combines AI with expert gynaecologist support to provide confidential, instant care. Women can chat with a doctor anytime, get medical advice and receive prescriptions within minutes.

Pinky Promise claims it has helped over 3.5 lakh women across more than 320 symptoms and conditions, including period issues, UTIs, fertility, pregnancy and PCOS. The platform has 40,000 paying users from every district in India.
