Pet grooming home service startup BhaoBhao has raised $200,000 in its first round of angel funding.
Founded in July this year by Aditi Sanganeria and Anshika Maheshwari, the idea came from their own struggles with untrained groomers and the hassle of taking their pets for services.
The startup now plans to expand its premium pet care services beyond select city neighborhoods to more locations.

The company’s model is built around training groomers to handle every step of the process—from greeting the pet to finishing the service. Groomers are taught to bond with the pet, keep it comfortable, and leave the place tidy, cofounder Aditi Sanganeria said.
BhaoBhao currently provides at-home grooming for dogs and cats, charging Rs 1,500–2,000 per visit, and has served over 3,000 clients in Mumbai.
“We have a 95% repeat rate and plan to expand to other localities soon,” cofounder Anshika Maheshwari said.
The startup is in discussions to raise $4–5 million by year-end to expand and bring its premium pet grooming services to more customers.
