Perkant Tech Raises Rs 6.6 Cr In Seed Funding Round

Perkant Tech, a health tech startup has raised Rs 6.6 crore ($771K) in its seed funding round led by YourNest Venture Capital. 

The funding round included support from the Government of India’s Atal New India Challenge (₹1 crore), Villgro Foundation (₹35 lakh), and Sanchi Connect (₹25 lakh).

The startup will use the funds to enhance its technology, expand its team, and prepare for a larger launch after successful trials.It also plans to add more features for early disease detection and recovery tracking.

Founded in 2020 by engineers Lokant Jain and Saniya Jeswani, Indore-based Perkant Tech has developed an AI-powered medical device, "Abhay Parimiti," which provides quick health scans in under 60 seconds, even in areas with limited doctors.

The technology is patented in India, with a U.S. patent pending and aligns with India's National Digital Health Mission. It can track over 700 body signals, helping detect illnesses early. 

The device is user-friendly, making it useful for both doctors and people in rural or remote areas.
