March 2025 Funding Recap: Top Investments Across Sectors

The third month of 2025 saw strong investor interest across various industries, with around $ 1.5 billion in funding in different rounds. Fintech, Fashion and Ecommerce and other sectors attracted the most capital as companies continued to innovate and expand.

This article highlights the top companies that secured funding in March 2025 and how they plan to use it for growth.

Top funding of the month:

Zolve

The Bengaluru-based Cross-border neo-banking startup Zolve has raised $251 million in an equity and debt funding round led by Creaegis.

Out of the total funds raised, $51 million came from equity, and the remaining $200 million came from debt.

Apart from this, different companies like Darwinbox, Nexthop AI, Leap Finance are the companies that received the most funding this month.

Darwinbox

Enterprise HR technology platform Darwinbox, has raised $140 million (about INR 1,218.1 Cr) funding in an undisclosed round co-led by Partners Group and KKR.

The funding round also saw participation from growth equity firm Gravity Holdings.

Nexthop AI

Nexthop AI, a company developing AI infrastructure for cloud providers, has raised $110 million in funding led by Lightspeed Venture Partners.

The round also saw participation from Kleiner Perkins, WestBridge Capital, Battery Ventures and Emergent Ventures.

Leap Finance

Leap Finance, a fintech platform for Indian students pursuing higher education overseas, has secured $100 million in debt funding from London-headquartered bank HSBC through its Asean Growth Fund.

InsuranceDekho 

Insurtech startup InsuranceDekho has raised $70 million in a funding round. 

The round was co-led by Beams Fintech Fund, Japan’s Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG), and insurer BNP Paribas Cardif through its insurtech fund, managed by the European investment firm Eurazeo.

Smallcase 

Online investment platform Smallcase has raised $50 million in its Series D funding round led by Elev8 Venture Partners.

State Street Global Advisors, Niveshaay AIF, Faering Capital and Arkam Ventures also participated in this round.

Scimplify 

Scimplify, a Specialty chemicals manufacturing startup has raised $40 million in a Series B funding round co-led by Accel and existing investor Bertelsmann India Investments.

The round also saw participation from UMI, 3one4 Capital and Omnivore.

Purple Style Labs

Luxury fashion brand Purple Style Labs, the parent company of Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop, has raised about $40 million in funding in a Series E round led by SageOne Flagship Growth OE Fund, Bajaj Holdings & Investment, Alchemy Long Term Ventures Fund and Minerva Ventures Fund.

Rangsons Aerospace

Rangsons Aerospace, an aerospace and defence tech startup, has raised Rs 300 crore ($36.5 million) in funding from ValueQuest Investment Advisors.

Infinite Uptime

Infinite Uptime, an Industrial Analytics Startup that offers predictive maintenance solutions for factories, has raised $35 million in a Series C funding round led by Avataar Ventures.

Other investors including New York-based funds StepStone Group and LGVP, in addition to existing backers Tiger Global and GSR Ventures also participated in this round.
