Mannjal raises Rs 17.5 Cr in seed round led by Arali Ventures and B Capital

Bengaluru-based Mannjal, a unified lending platform, has raised Rs 17.5 crore ($2.1 million) in a seed funding round led by Arali Ventures and B Capital.

The round also saw participation from Sparrow Capital and Gemba Capital. 

The startup plans to use the funds to expand its lender network and accelerate product development.

About Mannjal 

Founded in 2023 by Prashant Adurty, Aman Bhargava, and Harshit Lingamneni, Mannjal runs a full-stack lending platform that helps financial institutions offer priority-sector and impact-focused loan products at scale.

The startup provides tools that support field operations, loan origination, and credit assessment. It allows lenders to run both digital and on-ground data checks, add external information to borrower profiles, and organize data for better analysis and decisions.

Institutions can also set up custom workflows for risk, operations, and business teams. According to the company, lenders using Mannjal have cut turnaround times by 50–75% and increased loan approval rates to 85–90%.

In the past 18 months, Mannjal’s platform has enabled loans worth about Rs 1,000 crore across unsecured business loans, loans against property, and affordable housing finance. The company now works with over 75 lenders.
