MangoPoint raises $1 million in Pre-Series A round led by IPV

Agritech exporter MangoPoint has rasied $1 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV).

The round also saw participation from The Chennai Angels, Native Angel Network, Keiretsu Forum India, Fondation Botnar, IIM-CAN, Metis Family Office, and JITO Incubation and Innovation Foundation. 

The startup plans to use the funds to scale infrastructure, enter new markets, improve backend operations, and expand the product range.

According to Inflection Point Ventures, India produces nearly 50% of the world’s mangoes—around 24 million metric tonnes—but struggles with quality, supply chain issues, and global competitiveness. MangoPoint aims to tackle these challenges by building a compliant and sustainable value chain.

About MangoPoint 

Founded in 2018 by Manjula Gandhi Rooban and Prasanna Venkatarathnam, MangoPoint is a premium exporter of chemical-free, single-origin Indian mangoes and mango-based products, mainly catering to markets in North America and Europe.

The startup currently handles over 2000 metric tonnes of mangoes each year and aims to scale this to 20000 MT in the coming years. It operates APEDA and NPPO-certified packhouses and holds FDA clearance for exports to major international markets.

It also aims to expand into the processed mango segment, offers mango-based ingredients and value-added products to boost its global presence.
