Kettleborough VC launches fund II With Rs 80 Cr Target Corpus, Marks First Close At Rs 35 Cr

Venture capital firm Kettleborough VC, has launched its second fund with a target corpus of Rs 80 crore and announced a first close at Rs 35 crore. 

The venture fund is supported by family offices and entrepreneurs from india and the US.

Kettleborough says Fund II will focus on backing highly experienced founders at the earliest stage—usually those with 10+ years of domain expertise and strong execution skills.

It plans to invest $300,000–$500,000 in around 10 startups, with extra funds reserved for top performers.

That’s the last straw moment for us—the final convergence of market familiarity, lived experience, and deep networks. Fund I has shown a clear PMF for this thesis—tracking nearly 2x in just about 3 years from the final close—and we are now doubling down with Fund II to back about 10 more such companies.”
