The startup will use the funds to grow in the US, develop new co-pilots, and launch HyperLM—a custom large language model trained on a large amount of finance and accounting data.

“There are use cases in finance and accounting where an AI agent can achieve straight through tasks with no human touch. We are transforming finance operations and freeing human bandwidths for doing higher order tasks,” said Rajeev Pathak, cofounder and CEO of Hyperbots.

“We were impressed by the accuracy and product breadth of the Hyperbots agentic AI suite for such a young company. We are excited to back the Hyperbots team that combines deep AI expertise with a relentless focus on customer value and satisfaction,” said Bala Srinivasa, managing director, Arkam Ventures.

About Hyperbots

Founded in 2023 by Niyati Chhaya, Ram Jayaraman and Rajeev Pathak, the Bengaluru- and US-based Hyperbots provides AI tools that help automate important finance and accounting tasks like processing invoices, matching and reconciling records, managing accruals, checking taxes and verifying payment terms.

The startup has about 55 employees, most of them in its engineering team based in Bengaluru.

Hyperbots’ platform, trained on over 30 million finance-related data points, is designed for mid-sized businesses in the US. The company says that while finance teams have started using digital tools, many still rely on manual work, disconnected systems, and outdated reports.

Hyperbots claims its AI co-pilots can cut manual work by up to 80% and achieve 99.8% accuracy in processing documents, leading to faster results and lower costs.

The company currently works with clients in healthcare, media, EV infrastructure, and retail, and expects to onboard over 100 customers this year.
