Healthtech Startup CURAPOD Raises Rs 20 Cr Led by V3 Ventures

The startup will use the new funding to speed up product development and improve its app. It will also invest in branding and marketing, and expand direct-to-consumer sales by launching on new marketplaces.

Healthtech Startup CURAPOD Raises Rs 20 Cr Led by V3 Ventures

Litemed-backed CURAPOD, a Made-in-India, non-invasive and personalised pain management device, has raised Rs 20 crore in its Pre-Series A funding round led by V3 Ventures.

The round also saw participation from 3i Partners, and Ideaspring Capital.

The startup will use the new funding to speed up product development and improve its app. It will also invest in branding and marketing, and expand direct-to-consumer sales by launching on new marketplaces. CURAPOD plans to build stronger partnerships with gyms, physiotherapy centres, and sports medicine networks, while increasing its manufacturing capacity and sales operations.

Part of the funding will also be used for international expansion, with plans to enter European markets. This will include meeting regulatory requirements, strengthening clinical validation, and building local market presence.

About CURAPOD 

Founded in 2022 by Sri Velliyur and Surya Maguluri, CURAPOD makes wearable, non-invasive devices for managing pain related to muscles and joints.

Its device uses photobiomodulation therapy and is designed to help with back pain, neck pain, knee pain, joint problems, muscle stiffness, and sports injuries.

The device is FDA-registered and can support treatment for more than 30 musculoskeletal conditions, offering a drug-free pain relief option. The company follows a clinician-led adoption approach and is expanding its presence across India.
