GreenStitch, a sustainability-focused SaaS platform for the fashion and textile industry, has raised $1.2 million in its seed round. The funding was led by Equirus InnovateX Fund, with participation from Ivycap Ventures, Warmup Ventures, and Zeca Ventures.
The round also included investments from climate and fashion experts like Anshuman Bapna (founder of Terra.do), Sumit Jain (CTO of Zalora), Pankaj Vermani (founder of Clovia), Amit Kumar (founder of Nobroker), and Senthil Sankar (founder of Ecoline).
Funding Utilisation
The funds will be used to grow its team, improve its product, and build a database for fashion and textiles.
Founded by Narendra Makwana and Arpit Samdani, GreenStitch connects with ERP and PLM systems to gather data from the supply chain, filling in gaps with AI and machine learning. This helps businesses calculate their carbon emissions and identify environmental risks in the supply chain.
