GIVA Raise Rs 450 Cr Funding From Creaegis, Others

D2C Jewellery Startup GIVA is gearing up to raise Rs 450 crore (approximately $53 million) in its Series C funding round led by Creaegis.

The round also saw participation from Premji Invest, Epiq Capital, Edelweiss Discovery Fund, and the Usha Dalmia Trust.

According to regulatory filings, the Board of the Ishendra Agarwal-led company approved a resolution on May 26 to issue 1.73 lakh Series C compulsorily convertible preference shares (CCPS) at ₹25,947 each to investors.

The VC firm, through its investment arm CIF II Scheme I, will invest ₹235 Cr in the new-age jewellery startup. Existing investors Premji Invest and Epiq Capital will contribute ₹125 Cr and ₹45 Cr, respectively. The remaining funds will be provided by Edelweiss Discovery Fund and the Usha Dalmia Trust.

This reflects a 47% jump from the startup’s previous valuation of $254 million during its last funding round in 2024.

As per the filing, the fresh capital will be used for operational expenses such as hiring, marketing, corporate requirements, and other strategic initiatives outlined in Giva’s business plan.
