Gaming startup Exiles Interactives raises $355,000 in funding led by Chimera VC

Exiles Interactives, a gaming startup has raised $355,000 in a pre-seed funding round led by Chimera VC.

The round also saw participation from Warmup Ventures, IndigoEdge, and angel investor Dhruv Vohra, along with existing shareholder Sourav Gupta.

The startup said it will use the funds to speed up the development of Centarius, its next-generation social gameplay platform, and to boost its marketing efforts.

Krish Anurag, Managing Partner at Chimera VC, said, “ Exiles Interactive has shown strong early traction, and it’s clear they are addressing a large unmet need in the browser-based gaming market. The team is deeply passionate about gaming and highly strategic in their approach towards the business. They are well-positioned for growth, and we believe Centarius has the potential to become a leading platform in this space.”

This investment will accelerate our product development and expand our marketing efforts ahead of launch.” 

Bengaluru-based gaming startup Exiles Interactives is developing Centarius, a browser-based social gaming platform that works seamlessly across devices. It features a range of mid-core games with social, community, and competitive play elements, along with rewards to boost user retention.

Unlike open web aggregators, Centarius operates as a curated platform focused on engagement-driven gameplay and social interaction. It aims to give indie developers greater reach across browser, PC/console, and mobile platforms—bypassing app store restrictions and distribution barriers.

To drive adoption, the brand plans to collaborate with gaming creators on TikTok, Twitch, and YouTube. After launch, Exiles Interactives will further expand its reach through community engagement and participation in major gaming events.
