Flipspaces Raises $35Mn In Series C Round Led by Iron Pillar

Flipspaces, a commercial interior design and contracting venture has raised $35 million in a mix of primary and secondary capital, led by Iron Pillar. 

Existing investors Prudent Investment Managers and incoming Synergy Capital also participated in this round.

The startup plans to use the funds to grow faster in India, the U.S., and the UAE. It plans to improve its technology, strengthen its brand and look at acquiring businesses in new markets and related areas.

Founded in july 2015 by Kunal Sharma, Ankur Mucchal, Vikash Anand, Mrinal Sharma, Prafful Sahu and Ritesh Rajan, Flipspaces provides a tech-driven design-and-build service, mainly for small and medium businesses (SMBs), which make up about 60% of the commercial interior market. 

The company says it has grown at 65% annually over the last four years, delivering more than 8 million square feet of workspace for over 1,000 brands. It’s now expanding into the UAE and has also launched a new unit focused on serving large enterprises.
